Good news for Gore students! The Township of Gore is proud to relaunch its Scholarship Program, an initiative designed to encourage academic perseverance and support young residents in achieving their educational and career goals.

Beginning August 3, 2026, eligible students will be able to download and complete the application form available HERE. Applications must be submitted by August 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

The program provides annual financial support to students pursuing their studies, as follows:

• $250 per year for high school students
• $500 per year for CEGEP students
• $1,000 per year for university students
• $1,000 one-time award for trade school or technical program students

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Belong to a family of permanent Gore residents;
• Have successfully completed all courses during the previous school year;

Applicants must also submit the following documents:

• Their most recent transcript or report card;
• Proof of enrollment for the 2026–2027 academic year;
• A completed application form;
• An essay of approximately 500 words on one of the proposed topics.

The application form will be available beginning August 3, 2026, in the News section of the Municipality's website. Don't wait until the last minute! Students have until August 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to submit their application to info@cantondegore.qc.ca.
