Jean-François Groulx is a pianist, a multi-instrumentalist and one of the most talented musicians on the Quebec scene, recognised as much by other musicians as he is by his fans. The record of this passionate musician is impressive; Musical Director for Louise Forestier, composer of the scores for Richard Desjardins’ film L’erreur boréale and the musical comedy Dracula starring Bruno Pelletier and lastly Musical Director for the TV show Ça manque à ma culture on Télé-Québec.
The trio uses rhythms, hooks and melodies which are influenced by music from Cuba, Brazil and Africa. With Adrian Vedady on bass and Yvon Plouffe on percussion, Jean-François’s repertoire is both seductive and sensitive.
